Al-Bireh | Palestine
The Society of Inash Al Usra was established in Al-Bireh – Palestine in 1965 as a voluntary and charitable organization. The establishment of the Society was the initiative of a group of Palestinian women, led by the well-known activist late Samiha Khalil, who felt obliged to contribute to empowering Palestinian women at times when the concept was still young and not so popular.
Nablus | Palestine
In cooperation with the Palestinian Orphan Support Association in Germany and the Palestine Children’s Welfare Association in Canada as well as a number of sponsors, institutions and individuals, the Orphan Sponsorship program was launched in 2002. The program aims to shed light into the lives of impoverished orphaned children, so that one day they can become educated individuals who can alleviate their communities out of poverty.
