Our Last Event: Ramadan Iftar For Gaza
On Sunday, March 1, more than 400 members of our community gathered for a fundraising iftar in support of Gaza. The evening was a powerful reminder of the strength, solidarity, and resilience of our community here in Montreal, and of our collective commitment to stand with our people during these devastating times. Your presence, generosity, and unwavering support made this evening possible, and for that we are deeply grateful. The evening brought our community together in meaningful support for our steadfast people in Gaza. All funds raised will go directly toward food and medical initiatives in the Gaza Strip, helping provide essential assistance to displaced families facing unimaginable hardship and genocide.

Palestine in the Park
On July 28, we gathered over 5,000 people at Angrignon Park. Palestine in the Park was a full day dedicated to Palestine, featuring programming that honoured our history and culture, food and bazaar vendors who shared our spectacular cuisine and craftsmanship with people from all backgrounds, and children’s activities that made this family-friendly event both educational and enjoyable for people of all ages.

Copa Palestina 2025
On June 28, we gathered in support of our steadfast people in Gaza, bringing back the second edition of our annual soccer tournament community fundraiser for Gaza! From the youth and adult tournaments to the family activities in the park, every part of our community was represented. A heartfelt thank you to our community, for showing up and proving once again that our commitment to Palestine will continue to live on, generation after generation.

Palestine Tent at Orientalys
For yet another years, the CPFQ was present at Orientalys - a festival that celebrates and promotes the diversity of Eastern cultures. Representing the Palestinian tent at Orientalys, we welcomed community members, curated a cultural display that educated visitors of our tent and raised awareness about our heritage, and performed the Dabkeh at the grand festival stage for the closing ceremony!

Gaza Fundraiser Iftar
A special thank you to our wonderful community for gathering together during the holy month of Ramadan in 2025 to help us raise more than $30,000 CAD to strengthen the steadfastness of our people in Gaza.

The People Stand With Gaza Fundraiser Dinner
A day in which our came together to raise over $40,000 CAD for the CPFQ’s Gaza Food Program, in a continuation of our efforts to support our people’s steadfastness and resilience.

Copa Palestina 2024
The first edition of our annual fundraiser soccer tournament, in which we raised over $11,000 CAD for our people in Gaza, and brought our community together in unity and solidarity.

Our programming
Dabkeh Classes
We offer weekly dabkeh classes for children and adults at the CPFQ on weekends. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned dabeek/dabeekah, we provide lessons for all levels.Registration is on a monthly basis!
Zaitoun Arabic School is a weekend language program for children ages 8-15, teaching them their native dialect and deepening cultural connection. Each cycle runs 15 weeks, with the next session starting in January 2026.
Every summer, the CPFQ hosts a camp for children that includes arts, activities, outings, movie screenings, educational lessons, and more. We teach culture, heritage, history, and language. Summer 2026 registration is coming soon!
Join our bi-weekly Tatreez circles, open to tatreezers of all levels. We also hold occasional beginner-friendly Tatreez worshops if you want to learn from scratch! Follow us on Instagram to see when the next session is announced.
